Ron is regarded as one of the preeminent real estate investors in the Southwestern United States. During his early career in Canada, where he was born and raised, he acquired and managed an extensive portfolio of residential and commercial properties throughout North America. In 1980, seeing the potential that real estate offered in the Southwestern United States, Ron formed the McRae Group of Companies in Scottsdale, Arizona. For the last 40 years, he has directed and overseen hundreds of real estate transactions. His natural acumen for producing attractive returns has yielded many loyal investors, employees, and industry colleagues. Today, he continues to guide the team with wisdom and optimism, as they work together to help investors grow their wealth for generations to come.

Ron holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and has completed graduate studies in Public Administration. In 2016, he wrote and published the book "Transforming Dirt Into Gold" detailing his real estate experience.

Augustine “Auggie” Gomez was a business associate of Ron's for many years prior to him joining the McRae Group of Companies in 2012. Since then, Auggie has served in multiple executive roles of the Company, most recently as Principal and Co-CEO. In 2020, Auggie and Ron formalized their partnership which included renaming to the McRae Gomez Companies. Today as CEO of the McRae Gomez Companies, Auggie works with Ron leading all facets of the Company. Auggie has substantial experience in land investment and residential housing, having held various industry-related positions in acquisitions and project management / entitlements with a public homebuilder and as a founding principal of a private land investment firm.

He has also held multiple industry, community, and volunteer leadership positions. For over a decade, he served on the Phoenix Country Day School (“PCDS”) Alumni Board including two terms (six years) as President. During his tenure as Alumni Board President, Auggie served as a member (ex officio) of the PCDS Board of Trustees. He also served on the Board of Directors (Executive Committee, Treasurer) of one of the largest credit unions in Arizona with 157,000 members and $2B in assets. Auggie also currently serves on the Leadership Team of the ULI Community Development Council (Phoenix Chapter) and is also an active member of Gen Next.

Auggie holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Master's of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing.

John serves as Principal of the McRae Gomez Companies. He began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona in the Organized Crime and Racketeering Division. John also worked as a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office and then served three terms in the Arizona Legislature. John is an owner of numerous businesses including Global Security & Innovative Strategies and The Institute for the Improvement of the Human Condition and is Of Counsel for the Law Firm of Fennemore Craig.

John holds both a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree.

David has more than 35 years of experience in the real estate industry, managing multiple facets including finance, operations, technology and project implementation. As a valued business advisor and financial professional, he plays a pivotal role in the investment process from beginning to end. David joined the McRae Group of Companies in 2007. Prior to his tenure with the firm, he employed his talents with CB Richard Ellis for 12 years in key regional and national positions, as well as with three other commercial development companies in roles ranging from Controller to CFO.

David is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's of Business Administration degree.

Adrian serves as General Counsel for the McRae Gomez Companies. Prior to joining the McRae Group of Companies in 2012, Adrian’s practice involved legal representation of real estate transactions in both the private and public sectors. Adrian has also been a member of the State Bar of Arizona since 1998, and acted as Secretary of the Real Property Section Executive Council from 2012 to 2018.

Adrian holds both a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a J.D. degree.

Jeff joined the McRae Gomez Companies in 2020, and serves as Vice President of Land Operations. Jeff spent several years with a Big 4 firm in the public accounting sector before transitioning into the real estate industry in 2003. Since that time, he has served as a manager and executive for land acquisition, entitlement, and development efforts, both with large, publicly-traded homebuilders, and external real estate consulting firms. Jeff has been the Vice President of Development for two large public homebuilders, and was the Director of Forward Planning for one of the premier land consulting firms in the state of Arizona.

Jeff holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Laurie joined the the McRae Group of Companies in 2003. Previously, Laurie became Accounting Manager in 2009 and continues to play an integral role in the Company.

Laurie holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting.
